HSDN International’s first AGM has successfully completed on 12 November 2017 in Oakridge Junior Public School, Toronto. We started our journey from Environmental Policy Institute, Grenfell Campus and incorporated 12 November 2016 federally in Toronto. We are growing and our stakeholders are all over the world. Our moto is to “Live Simply and Live Lively” and working following the policy of “Collaborating for Sustainability”. We are creating academic platform through publishing our peer reviewed ISSN registered journal and organizing seminars, workshops and conferences on sustainability. Now we are in third year of our JOURNAL FOR WORLDWIDE HOLISTIC SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT and organized more than dozens of events related to sustainability where minimum 50 to maximum 500 audiences attended. Besides journal, Bangla School, Toronto is our regular and weekly based program which is appreciated by the neighborhood communities especially for the activities for children and parents. We had 50 audiences in our AGM including Bangla School’s parents and students and representatives from community and national stakeholders in open session. Besides AGM speaker Margo Mullin, Program Coordinator of Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation, Eng. Rezaur Rahman, Chair of BOAT and Canadian Bangladeshi Engineering Association, community leaders and Bangla School parents group gave their valuable opinion for the future action plan of HSDN International. The AGM has presented by Fakhruddin Masud, Secretary of HSDN, financial statement presented by Swapan Sarker Treasurer of HSDN and talked on organizational activities by founder and executive director Mr. Jannatul Islam of the organization. The event concluded by the chair Dr. Nasima Akter by introducing the other directors Abdul Kader Himu and Siddertha Saha and thanking the audiences and wishing their continuous supports for the future activities that has been approved in the AGM.
